Automotive Aftermarket Technical Trainer

The technical trainer performs both product knowledge and advanced automotive technical training to our customers. This includes many venues such as trade shows, technical seminars, auto parts counter training, retail store product training, web training, video work, technical writing and more.
This group performs social media marketing in automotive forums, on youtube and other avenues.

Must have a strong automotive background; technician experience, enthusiast, racing, ASE certifications - all a plus.

A successful candidate will have a winning attitude that focuses on team wins vs. individual milestones.

The ability to speak, read and write Spanish and english fluently and in a convincing tone is mandatory.

Must be willing to work towards goals and deadlines that are often the result of last minute customer demands.

Must have strong people skills as you will interact with our customers continually.

Must be willing to speak to large groups of customers often in a classroom and in an auditorium setting.

Must be reasonably proficient in computer graphics software, (i.e. Photoshop, Powerpoint)

Must have a valid Passport and be willing to travel as per the demands of the corporation.

Travel up to 40%, home every weekend.

Candidates for technical trainer must be eager to learn new, relevant topics on an independent basis and be able to teach new material to the team as well as our customer base.
