Vibration Engineering Technician – Req #R005-10
Company Information:
Horton, Inc., a leading provider of value-added engine cooling system solutions worldwide, has an opening for a Vibration Engineering Technician to work in our Roseville Corporate Headquarters.
Position Summary:
Experienced technical position with emphasis on vibration and stress testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Engineers to test new designs or modified designs. Sets up and operates vibration and structural product tests. Tests components from product design and writes reports summarizing the test results. Works with outside customers and vendors to determine testing required to meet customer requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
• Two year technical degree
• 5 years direct experience in:
o vibration testing
o CAD
o Microsoft Excel
o Word
o Outlook
o Analyzers
o Strain Gages
o Modal Stand
o Shaker Stand
o Software
o Reliability Testing.
• Requires skills and knowledge consistent with a two-year technical degree or equivalent. (Note: equivalent education equals 2 years of closely related experience for 1 year of education.)
• Requires 5 years of experience in vibration testing as well as varied experience inspecting or testing of manufactured products.
Must be able to show legal authorization to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided. Relocation allowance may be provided if the individual has all of the necessary qualifications.
